Artist Statement

Yucen is an artist and researcher working with installation, moving image, and system-based practices. His work is situated within the field of Creative R&D (Creative Research and Development) and focuses on the relationships between digital assets, protocolized systems, and mechanisms of life support.

Yucen’s practice examines digital assets as protocolized infrastructures of survival, reframing them beyond financial or market-based definitions. Their research focuses on how contemporary technological systems translate survival into executable, calculable, and interruptible processes through conditional logic, continuous operation, and institutionalized access.

Yucen currently works and lives in London, UK, and is studying at University of the Arts London (UAL). Yucen will participates Chicago Expo 2026 and KunstRai Art Fair 2026.
